Valve is hosting a virtual conference on November 12 to teach developers how to get their games on the Steam Deck.
The free, one-day online event will include insights from the Steam Deck team, including “best practises to help you make your games a seamless experiences on Steam Deck.”
More specifically, the ‘Steamworks Virtual Conference: Steam Deck’ will include segments on development without a dev kit, proton support, and the hardware itself.
AMD will also be hosting an APU deep dive, while Valve also intends to talk more about Steam Deck Verified, its new system for evaluating how well titles run on the handheld PC platform.
After each talk, there will be live Q&A sessions where speakers will be able to respond to questions.
The conference will kick off at 10am PT and will be free to attend for Steamworks developers. Valve also noted that while the initial broadcast will be in English, localized versions will be released soon after.
